About this page

This site is very much under construction, I've been toying with CSS to make it more responsive, outside of some oddities here and there I think it looks acceptable now..

This is a... I don't really know what to call it. Just a collection of my online thoguhts or something. My goal for this page is to make a place for me to share cool stuff and log in my progress in becoming cracked at computer science.

Chech out first updates on the report page!

This website is called "My Drawer". The reason why I chose this name is because there is a saying in my language, "píše do šuplíku", which roughly translates into "they write for the drawer", meaining that somebody is writing, painting or in any other way creating things without any desire to publish it. Now you may think that it is a bit contradictory to not want to publish while making a website, but the way I see it I want this site to be completely anonymous. No links to any other things I post online, no revealing identity, just Skeeter on this website. I am not even telling anybody IRL about this web. That's my way of writing "for the drawer". In no way connected to real me.

About me

> Hey, I'm Skeeter. I am a 20-something year old computer science student based in Czechia. I recently got the bachelors degree, and I'm getting masters. I like messing around with C#, Linux, arduino-esque C and QMK/ZMK firmware. I also learned LaTeX for fun. My current money sinking obsessions are mechanical keyboards and iPod modding.

> As of September 2025 I have a degree in CS, but I feel like I haven't learned much. It is not as bad as everyone over on twitter is making in to be. I know git, I use Linux, I know some basic programming. But that's not good enough for me, I have a strong desire to know more, to understand, to create.

> I got hyped to get cracked at computer science, but right after setting up this page I got covid. Then the school started and my work became more hectic and now I can barely find time on just exist.

> Outside of computer sciency stuff I'm interested in film photography and sci-fi literature. I also enjoy games, anime and manga, pop punk music and blueberry redbull. That being said I do spend a lot of time tinkering with my 3D printer, wide collection of Arduinos and Raspberry Pis, or just installing another self hosted service on my Linux server. And wether or not I built my own computer should not even be a question.

Plans of and for this site

As you can see up in the "navbar", there are several sections I'm going to build. Home is this page, reports page is where I'll talk about my progress. The idea is to update it everyday as much as possible.

Roadmap is where I'll share my study materials and the (so far somewhat loose) reasoning behind my material choices and the occasional course change.

Cool page is where I'd like to share stuff I find cool. That's it.

Lastly the blog page is for me sharing thoughts longer than would be appropriate for the reports.

I'd also like to meake something like a diary for all the stuff I enjoy, talk about the games I finish, films I watch, books I read. A place for me to remember and celebrate it all.

I know this is all wibbly wobbly timey wimey nonsense, but hey, it is my piece of the internet and the only rules there are are the ones in my head.
